Straight Hair - I would buy the CHI Ceramic Flat Iron (Original 1'; CHI). They are about $110.00
Curly Hair - I would buy the Paul Brown Hawaii Ceramic Flat Iron. They are about $150.00

It is a good product, but you must also use a good product on your hair prior to using the straightener or you won't think it's so great.
