Homemade hair straightener?

ya i kinda destroyed my straightener by accident

and i like straightening it

any ideas on how to do that??Homemade hair straightener?
I used to use this, but I don't suggest it for the long term because it absolutely mutilates your hair.

Go find the flat iron you use for ironing clothes and the ironing board you use as well. Lay a portion of your DRY hair on top of the board and place a towel over the hair to protect it from damage. I did not use the towel myself, as it takes longer to straighten, but if you're in no hurry, are new at this, and don't want to fry your hair, apply the thin towel.

I also use a straightening serum before this, so that the process is faster.

You'll have to look out for getting the back of your head properly because you won't be able to see spots you missed until you feel them. The iron is clunky and dangerous to use so you must be careful not to burn your face, ears, or the nape of your neck while doing this.

If you use the flat iron often you'll find it's really fast to do because of the surface area of the iron (it basically mows hair straight!), but it's not very maneuverable and quite dangerous.

Decide if you're willing to do this- OR, just go natural or blow dry straight in the meantime before you buy a new straightener! I can never blow dry straight because my hair is a frizzy mess so I won't begin advice on that.

Good luck!Homemade hair straightener?
Brushing and blow drying. As hair dries, it tends to curl up. This is a direct result of the water content and the chemical bonds existing in the hair fiber proteins. If you can hold your hair straight with a comb and blow dry it, it will hold that position. It鈥檚 a bit like using an iron to straighten the wrinkles in clothes.
Unless your a certified electrician, don't try to make a straightener. Unless you want you and/or your house on fire.

Otherwise, I would buy a new one, or not straighten your hair.
half dry your hair and apply gel to it... comb through and then wrap in a bun and let dry... takes a while to dry but at least it is safe and does not involve potential burns and house fires....
iron or you can just buy another one
iron boreed and iron..
a pair of bbq forceps and hot coals or stove top, apply forceps to heat until hot, apply to dry hair.
blow dry it, simple
