I recently bought the Remington brand straightener called ';Wet2Straight'; at Wal-mart for $26.99.
You can straighten your hair while it's wet - or when it's dry. It has a digital screen with many different settings for different hair types.
It has ceramic plates (which is what you want for a straightener) and it is very easy to handle!

i got my hair straightner for 30 dollars from walmart and i love it. its a conair. its not one of those high tech fancy ones but it does an amazing job and all my friends comment on how nice it works. i think it does a better job than most expensive ones.
