How do I know if it's the real Chi and not some fake ones? Are they actually better than Conair? What's the good and bad about it? I'm actually considering getting one! Any advices would greatly appreciated! Thanks!!CHI hair straightener?
Chi is the best you can get for your money. I have one, they last forever. The ceramic straightener makes your hair shiny and soft. The sleek design makes it easy to get your roots straight. It is definately better than Conair, trust me. I've tried Conair, and you might've too, but with my hair type it didn't cut it. If you want hair that looks naturally straight, go with the Chi.

You can get real Chis at salons, just ask the one that you go to. My salon USES Chis.CHI hair straightener?
Chi is better. i use it and its safer.
If you pay attention, Target sells Chi for about $99 around the Christmas holidays as a price leader.
i have one got from ebay. i don't know about real one . it looks real to me. it works good. gets really hot. but in long term i am going to do a japanese straigtening.
My wife uses chi... It gets hotter, is ready faster, and lasts LOTS longer than conair

Everyone thinks CHI's are reaaaaally good but they arent. They work good yeah, but for like $200 they shouldn't break. I've had 4 different REAL chi's and they've all broken within like 4 months. Conair sucks too. I would get a Sedu i love mine!
CHI is amazing they heat up really fast and work really well and ... fast but make sure you get a ceramic one they work alot better. ask like a hairsalon that might carry them

chi is soo much better than conair ive tried both.

it's one of the best, I love it.
Corioliss (pink one). Works good. The plates are a little thin though.. makes me take longer straightening my LONG, thick hair.
i use remington 3x smooth and sleek cause it's the only one that works on my hair, because i have really thick hair and it's dry and i have a load of curls (really long too i love it).
    Kiwi- blow serum

    Osis - x-tra flat
my hair is naturally straight, i dont need a straightener :)

I have natural straight hair so i dont use a straightner only when i have a bad hair hair day i use my GHD hair straightener they're the best and it doesnt show that i use a hair straightener.
    conair
chi is the best $140 i have ever spent
a conair gvp that is compared to chi and it works the same i think...
i use SEDU its great you can use it on any kind of hair
I got mine at Bed, Bath and beyond. I pd. $30 for it and it works just as good as the real expensive ones. It's a Remington, Wet to straight.

My hair straightener broke... any ideas?

I have generally wavy//sorta frizzy hair. Its kinda thick, but not really because i have some (not much) layers. My straightener broke so ive been doing messy buns and braids but i REALLY wana wear my hair down. Any ideas as to how to get it curly?? I just showered and need to go to bed soon, so should i braid it... but then the ends are straight..?? So any ideas as to how i can get it curly with out using anything? If not, how should i wear my hair up tomorrow? My hair straightener broke... any ideas?
    You should buy another straightener.

but for tonight, you should try to blow dry your hair with a round brush. there are videos on how to do it on youtube. My hair straightener broke... any ideas?
What I do when that happens is I brush through it until its PIN straight. Then I part my hair in the center or on the side (however I want it the next day) and braid them. Then I do nice, tight, ballerina buns with each braid. Sleep through it. Then in the morning, it will some out nice and so you gel it through, blow dry it, and its done. (You don't have to blow dry it if you don't want to)
If you have velcro rollers, put them in overnight.

    If not, try this:

    It works pretty well.

In the morning, put some mousse to loosen them up.

Then put hair clay or pomade to hold them.
braids would probably work, if you have velcro rollers you could leave them in overnight and take them out in the morning.
You should Baraid it in like 20 baraids all around your head so it will be pretty with waves!!
